Lino will be getting started lunging with purpose by this time next week and we are STOKED! Big boy is scheduled to get some front shoes put back on March 8th, and a few days later we'll be seeing how he does for his first post-track ride. Eeeeee!! One of the most exciting things for us here is getting to restart a horse we've really gotten to know during their recovery time here in and out. Lino's personality is hilarious - he's a big baby, with a big baby brain on the ground - so we'll see if that translates over to being under saddle (pray for me LOL)
Don't WORRY - we'll keep you updated! And if I get thrown off I promise it'll be on video and I PROMISE you we will be getting PROPER conformation pics of big handsome as well - but for now, here's a shitty iPhone pic of him to show off his dapples hiding under that winter coat .. do I clip him?! PURRR ✨ We'll see how he restarts and go from there - but I'm THINKING my all time favorite IRISH CLIP will look dashing on him .. I might have to recruit John for some straighter lines 👀
