Dixie Music is a 2020 Pennsylvania-bred mare by Flashback out of Savage Beauty (by Joyeux Danseur), standing approximately 15.3 hands. She’s recently restarted off the track and is quickly proving herself to be a total gem in every way.

Dixie is sweet, quiet, and kind — both under saddle and in the pasture. She has three easy, balanced gaits and goes walk-trot-canter quietly with a soft mouth and floaty movement. She picks up both leads on the first ask, has a natural lead change, and is showing a willingness to learn and respond well to leg and seat pressure. She’s still a bit green but has an incredible brain and wants to please. Everything you ask of her goes without a fight.

She gets along beautifully in turnout with other horses and is gentle with her rider. With her lovely movement and calm demeanor.
