Who wants dark, handsome, and athletic, while having the brain of a quiet (superrr dark) bay gelding? Dawson is the total package of athleticism and sanity. He's the type you can throw your leg over and enjoy without the drama. Brave and quiet, Dawson hacks out confidently, and has already been on a handful of trail rides where he crossed water without a second thought.

Barefoot at the moment, Dawson has good, sturdy feet, but as his workload increases, he may benefit from shoes for added comfort, but he's holding up beautifully so far. He's naturally self-motored, happy to maintain whatever gait you ask for without needing to be pushed — and without trying to run away with you either. No nervous energy here; he keeps a cool, level head no matter the situation.

Sound, surefooted, and incredibly personable, Dawson is the type that will follow you around the pasture looking for a friend, but he is not pushy on the ground as many with that personality are. He's great with dogs & other animals, making him an easy fit for a busy barn or a quiet private setup.
